A pair of carved, French pier tables dating from the 20th century and imitating an 18th century style. These oak tables feature floral carvings and hatched incision patterns along their front and side panels. The knees and ankles of the legs have floral carvings. Provenance: 29 3/4 inches tall X 42 1/4 inches wide X 13 3/8 inches deep; 75.6 cm tall X 107.3 cm wide X 34 cm deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both tables have splits along their top surfaces. Both have scratches and dents along the edges of their top surfaces and along their lower leg bars. One table has a split in upper leg at skirt. Provenance: A North Carolina collection.
