A Chinese export, Thai Benjarong porcelain bowl from the 19th century depicting Norasingh, a mythical semi-deity who lives in the Himmapan Forest and a Thephanom, a celestial being. Dimensions are: 6 7/8 inches dia. X 3 1/8 inches tall; 17.5 cm dia. X 7.9 cm tall. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Some finish wear to inside of bowl, minor kiln defects. Provenance: A North Carolina collection.
