规格:长17.5cm 宽12.5cm。
橢圆形绿色石砚，石質潤澤，砚面周邊浮雕鳳紋，鳳首雕於池之左上方，雙翼向左右蓋覆，環繞砚周，周棱因鳳之羽紋而呈連弧状。新月形池，池右下方浮雕鳳爪。全砚通髓有深淺不同之绿色天然横紋。砚背周邊起宽棱，中央凹下處陰刻行書銘：「以静爲用，是以永年。」並陰刻二行四字篆體方印：「康熙宸翰」。紫色橢圆形砚盒，盒蓋舆盒身藉硯身扣合。蓋周鏤空子母夔龍紋，大龍在右，幼龍居左，大龍之首雕於上邊正中部位，幼龍之首雕於右下角，二者上下遥望，大龍龍身下垂，小龍龍身上翘，環繞盒蓋周
