A ceramic jug with fluted body, broad shoulder with raised concentric ribs, quatrefoil rim, strap handle and flared, pie-crust rim; card tag with handwritten note stating 'V No 17, Welfen Museum', attached to string with red seal impression. 510 grams, 15cm (6"). Ex central London gallery; acquired from the Sotheby's Hanover sale, 10 October 2005, lot 1254; from the Palace of Hanover with a label from the 'Welfen Museum' V.M.V 17.[No Reserve]
