A substantial carved bone or ivory spoon with twisted stem, shallow oval-shaped bowl and finial shaped as a cross pattée; circumferential band of dot-in-ring decoration to the lower stem, repeated around the upper stem in a different formation; cross with border and representation of the five wounds of Christ. 56 grams, 25.5cm (10").
