A matched pair of silver hoop earrings, each formed as a stylised figure of Eros standing nude, hands on hips; beneath the feet a discoid base and applied loop. 8.45 grams total, 31-33mm (1 1/4"). Property of a London gentleman; formerly with the Mahboubian Gallery, London, UK; acquired before 1972.[2]
