A matched pair of silver hoop earrings, each with a stylised nude figure of Eros modelled in the half-round, a grapevine garland hanging off of his right shoulder, standing on a discoid plinth with a suspension loop to the rear. 11.9 grams total, 33-35mm (1 1/4"). Property of a London gentleman; formerly with the Mahboubian Gallery, London, UK; acquired before 1972.[2]
