A mixed group of two objects relating to fire-starting, comprising: a bifacial bronze fire-steel handle with cinquefoil arch, globular collar and integral suspension loop above, all on a tiered rectangular base decorated with four ring-and-dot motifs; partial remains of iron steel below; sold with one later sub-rectangular piece of toffee-coloured flint, held within a lead 'sleeve'. 50 grams total, 34-60mm (1 1/4 - 2 1/4").
