A ceramic oil lamp with 'hemispherical' body, discus with series of concentric rings and recessed face with design of lion attacking a horse in high-relief; two different sized filling-holes; volute nozzle and ringed base containing stamped maker's mark(?) 60 grams, 10cm (4"). Property of a West Essex gentleman; formerly in a 1980s private collection.
