A group of two carved marble frieze fragments, comprising: (1) head facing right, with curly, shoulder-length hair, prominent brow, broad nose, slight grin and fleshy chin; (2) head facing left, large eyes, broad nose, full lips and cheeks, 'double' chin. 613 grams total, 87mm each (3 1/2"). From the collection of a Surrey gentleman; acquired 1970-1980.[2]
