1st-16th century AD. A mixed group of copper-alloy finger rings, most with D-section hoops, comprising a variety of sizes, shapes and designs, including: notched, oval, square, rectangular, discoid and elliptical bezels, some decorated with raised domes, one with discoid recess for a precious stone, others with geometric motifs and Christian crosses; the size of some suggests they could be children's rings. 69 grams total, 17-25mm (3/4 - 1"). From the collection of a Surrey gentleman; acquired 1970-1980.[20, No Reserve]
