A silver ring with D-section hoop, expanding at the shoulders; rectangular bezel with notched edge and raised octofoil panel with incised design comprising small central cross within a lozenge with concave sides, stylised leaves(?) in each angle. 11.51 grams, 23.55mm overall, 18.53mm internal diameter (approximate size British R, USA 8 1/2, Europe 18 3/4, Japan 18) (1"). From the property of an Essex private collector; acquired in the early 1990s.
