A large shell cylinder seal with frieze depicting three pairs of combatants, each a rearing quadruped gripped by a nude hero, with a fourth animal as a terminal; accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 32.8 grams, 35mm (1 1/2"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s; item number Y-427; academically researched and catalogued by the late Professor Lambert in the early 1990s.
