A bronze advancing bull figurine on a rectangular base, the bull modelled in the round with long slender legs and tail, small head with incised almond-shaped eyes and triangular tuft of hair to the forehead; a decorative blanket covering the entire back of the beast, divided into three sections, the front and back with a winged solar disc(?), the central section with net-pattern; attachment stud to base; mounted on a custom-made display stand. 189 grams total, 12.2cm including stand (5"). Property of a London gentleman; previously acquired on the UK art market in the 1990s; formerly in a 1980s collection.
