A very large serpentine cylinder seal with frieze of an advancing goat in profile with two standing robed figures, one with hands crossed on the chest and the other with one leg extending from the split front of his garment, chevrons and other symbols in the field; accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 35.9 grams, 43mm (1 3/4"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s; item number W-409; academically researched and catalogued by the late Professor Lambert in the early 1990s.
