A hollow-formed gilt-bronze figure of Manjushri sitting cross-legged on a lotus flower base, holding a flaming sword aloft in the right hand, left hand in the mudra for awareness, bloom to the left upper arm, floral crown and detailing to the body, small turquoise cabochon inserts. 1.4 kg, 21cm (8 1/4"). From a private UK collection, acquired on the London art market 1990-2000.
