A gilt-bronze figure of Buddha sitting cross-legged on a tiered base with lotus detailing, wearing elaborate headdress, right hand resting on his knee, fingertips touching the earth (Bhumisparsha mudra), the face serene with wide eyes, left hand palm-upward in the lap holding an alms bowl. 1.3 kg, 22cm (8 3/4").
