Dimensions: 12"H x 8.5"W Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong doucai stacked neck porcelain reward vase. The finest porcelain potted in reward shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, slight oval, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, molded six rings banded on shoulder and neck, with flaring opening lip and raised on a short small round foot base, and slight concave. All reserved in hand painting ornamentations, rendered in clean white under glazed ground color which contrast against the doucai design color. Doucai decoration the design is outlined in under glaze blue and filled in with over glaze colored enamels except blue. Colors which fit together but also contrasting or joined colors. Decoration in a combination of under glaze cobalt blue outlines and enamels added on top of the fired glaze, within the outlines. The main belly decorated with flowers blooms above rocks interspersed green foliage. The neck, the shoulder and the foot base rim festooned with flowers blooms interspersed scrolling interlocking tendril and foliage. Each section part banded and enclosed with double fine grayish rings lines. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on under base, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
