The porcelain potted in Zun shape vase, thick and large vase, a middle-heavy body tapered gracefully to rounded shoulders converging into tall cylindrical straight open lip, raised on wide splayed flat foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Ming Dynasty. Its color does not easily fade and durability is longer. It used cobaltous oxide as the colorant. Patterns were directly painted onto the inner body and burnt after glaze was applied on it. The main body delicately fine depicted with immortals figures in relax position below scrolling ruyi, vapor, dense tree, the rocky and flowers blooms, all in the a salubrious garden landscape. Big flying crane trough cumulus clouds interspersed with scrolling interlocking ruyi, flowers blooms and fresh foliage on the shoulder. The lower belly adorned with lotus flowers blooms and interlocking tendril. Upturning phoenix tails and repeating taotie mask decorated on the neck rim, and Qilin myth beast flying trough cumulus clouds, flaming vapor, above thrashing wavy Lishui water. Each section banded and enclosed with double fine blue rings. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy.
