The porcelain potted in shape vase, globular lower oval body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall neck, slightly flaring opening mouth rim, raised on slightly short a circle splayed foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in Jihong design porcelain. Masterfully covered in an even coat of a bright red glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The bright red glazed turning red due to its copper content when fired in a reducing atmosphere. Closely copying the Ming dynasty xianhong glaze. The glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
