A Chinese gilt silver and jade mirror dating from the Republic period. The larger carved jade plaque features a potted flower and lingzhi with a pair of bats; the other piece is a dragon hook handle. The mirror is set with carnelian, green jade, and lapis lazuli and features floral tracery. It is marked silver. Dimensions: 10 1/4 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide; 26 cm tall X 14 cm wide.
