Large Ancient Holy Land Iron Age Pottery Vessel c.1400 BC. Size 14 x 14 inches. Large tan-buff color pottery storage vessel, having a single strap handle. Scattered areas of surface deposits. A 13” long double drilled repair line along the lower edge of the vessel, with more recent restoration over the hair line. A few minor rim chips, otherwise intact. Provenance: NYC collection, by descent from family, acquired at Greys Mews, London, around 1990.
