Large Ancient Holy Land Iron Age Pottery Bowl c.1400 BC. Size 18 inches diameter x 4 3/4 inches high. Large salmon-tan color pottery bowl having four lug type handles equidistant spaced around the rim. Standing on a low disc base. Scattered large areas of surface encrustation. A small area of black net pattern decoration on the underside of the bowl. Minor chips on two of the lug handles and scattered minor rim chips, a larger shallow chip on the interior near the rim, and a v-shape hair line from the rim. Provenance: NYC collection, by descent from family, acquired at Greys Mews, London, around 1990.
