A silver filigree cased HaMelech Esther scroll, megillah, probably late 19th century, Eastern Europe, the cylindrical filigree case to an openwork crown finial set with coloured pastes and enclosing a gilt bell, the scroll guard engraved with textured diagonal bands and the case front applied with a vacant cartouche, the parchment with 22 lines to a column, depth 9cm, case length 23cm.
