A 19th century Italian Sefer Torah in an associated small 20th century arc, the latter apparently unmarked, the Sefer Torah on silver-mounted wood and bone rollers, the parchment with 42 lines to a column, with a crimson velvet mantle applied with a braid Star of David and flanked by two Hebrew letters, the five-sided parcel gilt silver mounts (unmarked) applied with gilt motifs including a pair of priestly hands in blessing and a vase of flowers, the Sefer Torah contained in an associated 20th century breakfront parcel gilt arc, apparently unmarked, chased with rococo decoration, columns, eagles, leaping stags and Hebrew lettering and surmounted by a crown with priestly hands in blessing flanked by rampant lions, the base of the arc measuring 9.2 x 18cm, 46.2cm high, approx. weight 89oz.
