The sight of the frame is not exactly square. Under inspection with UV lamp there is evidence of overpainting throughout the sky, retouching in the shadows and foliage in the fore and middle ground. The paint surface has been cleaned in recent years; a small amount of older varnish on the paint surface here and there. There is a prominent horizontal drip mark across the middle section of the lower third of the paint surface. Otherwise good fully restored condition *photos under UV lamp can be provided.
