Antoine Bofill (fl.1895-1925), a gilt bronze and ivory figure of ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ Early 20th century, signed on the base ‘Bofill’ Cast and carved after a model by Bofill and depicting the French heroine in full armour and holding a large sword, integral base with fallen flag 34 cm high Ivory: hairline on the top hand, otherwise ok but with some dirt and marks. Bronze: some of the gilt has been rubbed away or surfaces streaked and spotted with age and discolouration. General wear in keeping with age. Please note that this lot contains ivory.
