A George III satinwood Pembroke writing table, the quarter veneered and crossbanded top above the frieze drawer enclosing baize lined slide, on square tapering legs with brass caps and castors, 71cm high, 107cm wide, 65cm deep Overall general wear to include scratches, scuffs, small indentations, age related splits to veneers. the top is warped and in a poor state with what appears to be water damage/stains with warped and lifting veneers. The top also with losses to crossbanded veneers. Both leaf supports stiff. Frieze drawer does not close fully. Loss to moulding above one leg, signs of old wood worm holes to underside
