A George III satinwood and marquetry work table, the hinged and crossbanded lid centred by inlaid rosette set within swagged husks and scrolling foliate decoration, enclosing silk lined compartment, over pleated silk wool slide, on square tapering legs, 71.5cm high, 44.5cm wide, 33.5cm deep Provenance: Lennox Cato, 5th December 2009 Overall general wear to include scratches, scuffs, small indentations. Top is slightly warped with blistering and some lifting veneer. Small section of veneer missing from interior.
