拍品侈口，弧壁，下承圈足，形制秀美，胎质细白。碗身施柠檬黄釉，色泽匀净娇艳，莹润光亮。柠檬黄釉始创于雍正年间，而早在康熙时期，内务府珐琅作就已使用从西洋引进的锑黄作为珐琅彩瓷器的彩料和色地，由于这种黄釉的颜色比传统浇黄釉更为浅淡幽雅，故又称为“淡黄釉”，清代文献称之为“西洋黄”、“洋黄”，是以氧化锑为主要呈色剂的低温色釉。雍正十三年唐英撰《陶成纪事》记载了“岁例供御”的五十七种彩、釉，其中的“西洋黄色器皿”所指便是柠檬黄釉。
