唇口，长颈，颈部饰对称的双贯耳，垂腹，下承圈足，造型庄重。通体罩施仿古铜釉，釉色深沉肃穆，加之局部褐彩为饰，以拟铜锈之效。深具古铜包浆之质感，几可乱真。通体仅肩部环带内凸雕夔龙纹，陈浏于《陶雅》如此评述：“古铜彩独推乾隆朝，花纹皆凸雕夔龙、云雷，青绿殊可珍玩。” 整器造型源自商周青铜壶，略加化裁而成，深得古器古朴凝练之精髓。
