拍品纯铜制成，铸一老者盘膝侧坐于羊背之上，手捧书卷，眉目慈祥，长髯及胸，颇具仙风道骨之姿。座下山羊体型高大，姿态温驯，羊须、背毛丝缕可见。整尊造像形象生动，做工细腻。汉代刘向所著《列仙传》中载有“葛由骑羊”之典故，故后世多以骑羊代指成仙。
