A fruitwood and oak open armchair, mid-18th century, probably South Lancashire, the vase splat back over a solid seat with a drawer beneath, raised on turned supports united by stretchers, the drawer with feather banded decoration, 53cm wide 50m deep 104cm high See Chinery fig. 4:151a. Condition report: Seat a later replacement. Old split to splat, stretchers knocked and chipped. Peg lost to rear leg. Good colour and patina.
