A carved mahogany armchair, c.1760, in the manner of Paul Saunders, the shaped back over acanthus-carved arms and an overstuffed upholstered seat, the cabriole legs carved with shells and on scrolling feet, 72cm wide 64cm deep 94cm high Condition report: Left arm very slight movement, back structurally sound and sits level. Probably with later restorations to the back legs. Re-upholstered. General wear and tear to the frame comensurate with age and use.
