CHINESE TIANBAI-GLAZED PORCELAIN INCISED ‘DRAGON’ BOWL, YONGLE MARK Of conical form, thinly-potted with incised decoration to the interior of two dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst ruyi clouds. The base with four-character mark of Yongle (1403-1424). Together with a wooden display stand. Ming dynasty or later. 16.3cm diam. Sticker to the exterior reading ‘Yongle Imperial tianbai-glazed thin body dragon bowl’ Provenance: Private English collection of Sir Mark Heath KCVO CMG (1927-2005), and thence by descent.
