A 19th century Chinese blue and white bowl, decorated with fish and with four character mark to base. Diameter 23 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The bowl does not have any repairs or restoration. It does however have some damage. The top rim has numerous nibbles and chips. There is one larger V shaped loss. There is a hairline crack running from the bottom of this V down into the body for approximately 7 cm. Other than the mentioned damage the reminder of the bowl is in generally very good condition. There are no significant scratches or any significant discolouration. Looking at the bowl from the underside there is a firing mark to the centre with a glaze crack emanating from either side.
