A Georgian oak farmhouse kitchen dining table, with four plank top, recessed frieze, drawer to either end and raised on legs of square section with centre and end stretchers. Length 209 cm, width 100 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Table top height to underside edge 72 cm. Table top height 74 cm. You could sit at the end of the table as the overhang is 12 cm. There is however an end stretcher. The side overhang is 6 cm. Height from the floor to underside edge of the recessed frieze 55.5 cm (this is at the side of the table). Depending on the size of the chairs, the table would comfortably seat 8 (3 at either side and 1 at each end). You could at a push get more people round the table but this would be cramped. The table legs have already been tipped. In our opinion the table could do with being raised further to allow knee access underneath the bottom of the frieze. The table has evidence of what appears to be long gone woodworm to all of the drawer linings and most of the legs and stretchers. As stated this appears to be long gone but it would probably make sense to treat this again. The table top also has evidence of old woodworm holes in numerous places which should be visible on our images.
