扁瓶为青白玉质，玉质匀净细密，白中泛青，包浆润泽。平口，束颈，溜肩，扁腹，下部渐敛，线条优美流畅。颈部高浮雕一蟠螭，圆头，五官挤在前部，粗眉，圆眼，直鼻，独角后翘，耳内有凹槽，身躯细长翻卷，以一条细阴线勾勒脊柱，双肩前拱，关节处饰以漩涡纹，趾爪清晰，花尾卷起，栩栩如生。整器造型别致，打磨细致，精工细作，陈设于案头，别有一番风味。
