DESCRIPTION: Austrian silver compact with lipstick case. This is an absolutely gorgeous compact silver case in rectangular shape with a hand painted enameled scene on the front depicting a chariot of maidens and angel querub. There is inlaid metal in a floral and foliage pattern. The edge of the compact has decorative border with metal inlaid flowers and leaves. The inside of the compact has a mirror, a place to store powder and a compartment for lipstick. Inside there is a 800 engraving mark. CIRCA: Early 20th Century. ORIGIN: Austria.
