Sevres style, late 19th C. Cobalt blue ground porcelain urn form vases with gilt bronze mounts, acorn finials to the cover on each. With hand painted panels on either side of vases, onelandscape and the other a figural scene on each. With painted gilded decorative motifs and figural handles. Crossed L marks on underside of covers. H. to finial: 28 cm (11 in.) Provenance: From Chelster Hall Oakville, Ontario by order of the Estate Trustee. Both bases appear to be in good condition, with no signs of restoration. Both lids have beenprofessionally restored. Condition report available upon request.
