A Chinese stone carved Buddha or bodhisattva dating from the Tang dynasty or earlier. The figure is standing on a lotus pod. The stone is mounted on a wooden base. Dimensions: with stand- 18 1/4 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide; 46.4 cm tall X 21.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Chip at the food and pot.
