A group of two Japanese books dating from the 20th century. The first is a book of watercolor and ink on paper paintings of flowers, each signed. It has a cover with gold-flecked paper and a dedication page with two seals. The second is a book of ink on rice paper paintings of tea arrangements, each with an inscription. It has a dedication page with one seal. Dimensions are: the larger book with the flowers measures 12 1/2 inches tall X 8 3/4 inches wide, 31.8 cm X 22.2 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The book of flowers has some spotting throughout and general age wear. Its binding is gone. The book of tea arrangements has water damage, creasing, and general age wear.
