款识：约茅平仲不至，王穉登。 识文：江城尺五地，不肯踏尘埃。肝胆将军客，文章记室才。读书唇欲腐，看剑志方灰。客里黄花好，君来共绿醅。 作者简介：王穉登（1535～1612），字百谷、百榖、伯榖，号半偈长者、青羊君、广长庵主等，江苏苏州人。十岁能诗，名满吴会。万历十四年曾与汪道昆、王世贞、屠隆等在杭州共举“南屏社”。吴中自文徵明后，风雅无定属，穉登尝及征明门，遥接其风，主词翰之席三十余年。为同时期布衣诗人之佼佼者。万历二十二年被召参与修史。善书法，行、草、篆、隶皆精。
