She has illustrated childrens books for Simon Schuster, HarperCollins, School Specialty Publishing, and others. Deborah has also worked at Walt Disney Feature Animation, and is currently a professor in the Animation Department at Ringling College of Art and Design where she teaches Concept (Character and Environment for film) Traditional Animation, and Drawing for Animation.
