Louis Mailou Jones,Massachusetts, Haiti,1905-1998 Depicts the life and death of Martin Luther King Jr. through quick snapshots, originally painted in watercolor. Jones studied painting at the Academie Julian and was the only African American female painter of the 30's and 40's to achieve fame abroad.
