此熏炉体型硕大，入手沉甸，包浆沉厚明亮。整器海棠型，板沿，口上设直筒罩，盖隆起，盖顶镂空，镂空錾刻缠枝莲纹，英姿娇健。炉盖作盔状，分设两区，盖及板沿炉腹均镂空雕刻缠枝莲纹一周，中间以阴刻回字纹，如意莲瓣纹相隔，炉下四足稳健厚重。熏炉始于汉，盛于明清，常用作烧炭取暖式点燃檀香。此器工艺细腻，纤美，铜质精纯、光洁，厚实凝重，錾刻利落，下刀精准。青烟绕梁，瑞气四溢，壮严肃穆，可谓意义非凡，古朴大方，气韵极佳，既可品香，亦可赏玩。
