Wearing the habit of the Franciscan order, tied with a simple corded rope known as a cinture with three knots representing poverty, chastity and obedience. The Bronze with weathered green patina on a wooden plinth. 6 ft 6 ins high, 4 ft wide, 3 ft deep. Provenance, originally in a villa in Assisi, Perugia, Italy.
