CHINESE FRAME PAINTING OF WATERFALL IN MOUNTAIN

Wu Hufan, born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, is the descendant of Wu Dacheng (from the second day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar in 1894 to August 11, 1968). He is the preparatory member and painter of the Chinese Academy of painting, the associate professor of the Academy of fine arts of Shanghai University, the vice chairman of the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Artists Association, the librarian of the Shanghai Municipal Museum of culture and history, and the member of the Shanghai cultural relics preservation Committee.

PROVENANCE:From The Estate of David George Glen (1924-2016) of Delaware, raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, the son of William and Agnes Glen. His formal education was completed at Daniels Stewarts Colleg Edinburgh, after which he entered the field of medicine. He was a certified rehabilitation specialist, serving in military and civilian hospitals in the United Kingdom. From 1942 to 1945, he served in the Royal Air Force. In 1955 David immigrated to the United States, becoming a citizen in 1961.
