An Art Nouveau ceramic jardinière and stand c.1900 The jardinière moulded with bulrushes in relief on the edges, the base moulded in shallow relief with irises, leaves and lily pads on the foot, glazed in colours against a dark red ground, with gilt highlights 87 cm high (2) Two star cracks to base of jardinière, stains and dirt to the interior with crazing to the glaze - more obvious on the inside and sound of the jardinière is dull. The base has a few chips to the raised decoration and scratches to the top of the base. Aging, old marks and wear to bases.
