A 19th Century Royal Worcester Urn & Cover marked with Kerr & Binns device for 1896, model No. 1572, Rd.No.188129. The shouldered body hand painted with sprays of thistle and wild flowers on a peach blush ground, mounted with scrolling face mask handles and decorated with relief-moulded embellishments to the shoulders, neck and pedestal foot on bands of pale green enriched with gilding. The domed lid surmounted by a pointed finial, 10¼" (26 cm) in height.
